Xujie Zhang

Xujie Zhang graduated as a Master in Medicinal Chemistry at Shandong University in 2023, following his Bachelor's degree obtained at Shandong University in 2020. During his Master’s studies, he focused on the discovery of the HIV capsid inhibitors binding at the protein-protein interface with novel structures and mechanisms under the guidance of Prof. Peng Zhan. Currently, he is working at the Rega Institute for Medical Research.

Xujie is currently developping small-molecule inhibitors and PROTACs for a cancer-causing transcription factor. His work involves fragment-based design and synthesis of new molecular entities.​
